About Wu Jianmin

The artist

Drawn to painting from an early age, Wu Jianmin studied traditional landscape techniques under Yang Changlin.

Wu Jianmin is a member of the Jiangyou Artists Association, the Jiangyou Taibai Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and the Mianyang Artists Association. He is also a painter at the Shixian Calligraphy and Painting Academy of the Jiangyou CPPCC.

His work has appeared in the Jiangyou newspaper. Xiulin Yunwu received an Excellence Award at the seventh Contemporary Chinese Landscape Painting Exhibition in Henan. Yunhai Qixiu received a silver award at the Champlain Valley art exhibition and competition in Vermont, USA.

His practice reflects a sustained dedication to painting and its refinement. His works have been collected overseas.
